Physiotherapy Assistant

This program prepares students with theoretical and practical knowledge to be successful in the healthcare industry.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

Students receive:

  • 500-hour practicum placement  
  • Anatomy workshop at the University of Guelph 
  • canfitpro™ Personal Training Specialist certification   
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapist Association (CPA)  
  • Free Microsoft Office, DreamSpark Standard and Office 8 Upgrade

This program qualifies graduates to work in settings such as hospitals, private rehabilitation clinics, rehabilitation centres, long-term care facilities, retirement homes, sports medicine clinics, community health care agencies and other medical settings.
