Natural Nutrition Counsellor Diploma
About the program
- Available for high school graduates, RMTs, acupuncturists, estheticians, reiki practitioners, nurses and other complementary health professionals
- 90 hours of clinical training and observation and internship
- Class time is 20 hours/week with additional hours required for clinical internship and ability to work alongside future acupuncturists in providing care to patients
- Transfer credits available from previous education if the final mark was 70 percent or higher and the class was 45 hours in length.
- Learn to chart wellness, collaborate with colleagues, gain a strong understanding of nutrition, diet and other holistic practices, gain communication and interpersonal skills, and more
- Classes include Body Metabolism, Nutritional Symptomatology, Sports Nutrition and More
Employment Opportunities
- Graduates become natural nutrition counsellors possibly working in community and/or corporate settings or multidisciplinary health clinics
- Embrace your entrepreneurial skills and start your own business
- Acupuncturists, massage therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and other professionals in health and wellness fields can add it to an existing skill-set, while providing existing clients with an additional service
