DEMENTIA PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE

Course Description

Dementia Professional Course is designed for caregivers of persons with dementia. Caregivers may include family members as well as staff working in nursing homes, assisted living programs, adult day center programs, home support agencies, hospitals, hospice care and other settings providing care to persons with dementia.

Course Duration

20 Hours over 2 weeks, 12:30pm to 3:30pm

Admission Requirement

  • 19 years of age prior to the start of the study period or graduation from grade 12 (or equivalent)
