ADVANCED MEDI-SPA THERAPIST

IBI is proud to deliver a well-rounded professional Diploma program in the field of Advanced Aesthetics. The program objective is to provide individuals with the knowledge of advanced aesthetic treatments found in a medical spa. Students will have proficient knowledge of a variety of retail and professional skin care lines and product ingredients. Students will also learn advanced therapies such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, photo rejuvenation, acne treatments, laser tattoo removal, skin tightening/body contouring and other medical aesthetic therapies and modalities used in the medical spa environment. In-depth and detailed understanding and practical application of client consultations, sanitization and sterilization practices according to the Ministry of Health and professionalism in the workplace are emphasized throughout the program. Students will be prepared for a career in the medical aesthetics industry. This comprehensive program is designed for individuals who wish to commence a career in a spa, medical spa, medical doctor’s office or home based-business.

DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

In order to achieve a diploma, a student must obtain a minimum overall average of 70%, with no grade less than 60% in any theoretical or practical examination.
