Students will be well versed in providing traditional aesthetic services such as facials, body treatments, nail care, and waxing. An in-depth understanding of practical application and client consultations is re-iterated throughout the program. Additionally, sanitization and sterilization practices according to the Ministry of Health and professionalism in the workplace are emphasized. Students will be prepared for a career in the aesthetics industry. This comprehensive program is designed for individuals who wish to commence a career at a day spa, resort spa, cruise ship, cosmetic line, retail store or home based-business.

DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

In order to achieve a diploma, a student must obtain a minimum overall average of 70%, with no grade less than 60% in any theoretical or practical examination. The Spa industry in Canada and abroad is expanding and is expected to double in revenue over the next 10 years.
