This course will give students training and experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
Career Responsibilities
Students have access to QuickBooks accounting software. At the conclusion of this mini-course, students will be able to perform the following functions on the software:

Set up a new company and chart of accounts

Record transactions with customers, vendors and employees

Manage lists

Run reports

Change forms

Generate letters

Perform cash purchases and sales

Make purchases on accounts

Pay accounts payable

Receive money on accounts receivable

Create income sheets

Create audit sheets
Career Opportunities
Students can complete this course and use it as a base for more complex study such as MTC’s Computerized Accounting, Tax and Payroll program.
