Office Administration Certificate

Receive training on the most up-to-date aspects of office administration. Learn about keyboarding, interpersonal communications, writing and editing documents, basic accounting, reception, telephone communication, manual and electronic records management, calendaring, mail processing and managing office supplies. You'll also develop your computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, desktop publishing, and automated accounting. Practice in class, then develop your skills further during the work experience component.

Graduates can pursue a wide range of employment opportunities in a variety of sectors such as government, banking, manufacturing, health care, insurance and large and small business. They can enter the workforce as receptionists, administrative assistants, office administrators, customer service representatives, bookkeepers or obtain other positions that require office administrative skills.

This program is approximately 32 weeks long.
