This CATIA course is taught at Metro College because CATIA a powerful feature-based software system. It provides flexible CAD/CAE capabilities that assist in every design-through-manufacturing process. CATIA can be used not only to perform CAD tasks such as creating parts and assemblies and drawings, but also to run analysis for feasibility and optimization. Its bidirectional associative nature of the software ensures consistency and updated version of the designs among design team and in all of its environments.
In this CATIA course, first students will learn how to draft complex 2D sketches and meet design requirements. Then they will design and modify 3D models and assemblies, create drawings and presentations and supported documentation, and run analysis for both feasibility and optimization studies. Finally students will complete a mini project. This will provide them with a great opportunity to apply the powerful features that CATIA offers.
A CATIA certificate from Desault System willenhance your competitiveness in the job market. Therefore you are recommended to take and pass the exam at the end of this CATIA course.
