Community Support Worker

Maritime Business College’s Community Support Worker diploma program** prepares students to work in multiple capacities to administer, implement and deliver a variety of social assistance services to clients who are dealing with mental health, economic, disability, addictions, employment and personal and/or social challenges. This program combines theoretical foundations, current and emerging perspectives, and hands-on learning, including community outreach and volunteerism and On The Job Training, workshops, case studies and scenarios, to provide students with the knowledge, skills and perspectives required to work effectively in the helping profession.
