Education Assistant

Our Education Assistant program prepares students to be an agent of change and support in diverse and inclusive classrooms. Students in this program will learn about child and adolescents development, curriculum development, assessment and behavioural management, along with software such as Microsoft Office. This program will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a career in the education field. This program also includes a one month practicum where students get to gain practical experience in a diverse learning setting. Graduates from this prgram work in positions such as Educational Resources Assisant, Teacher Assistant and Special Education Assistant.
