This program provides students with the necessary visual communication and design foundation skills to enter the Graphic Design program at McKenzie College. It will offer applicants an opportunity to develop and focus their artistic and design talents specifically for the profession of Graphic Design.
Course Objectives
Learn how to use words, symbols and images to communicate ideas and information in strategic ways
Practice key concepts of developing dynamic and effective design compositions and page layouts
Understand the elements and principles of design and their relationship
Learn color theory foundations and how to apply them to image-making, in design, art, illustration and photography.
