Graduates of this 53-Week Law Clerk program (includes a 190 hour placement) will work in a very fast-paced environment in law firms, corporate legal departments, financial institutions, insurance companies, title searching companies, Federal, Provincial and Municipal Government offices, court offices, registry offices, government boards and tribunals, and legal services provider agencies among a host of other institutions. Depending on the area of employment, law clerks have a wide range of responsibilities, including preparing trial documentation, interviewing witnesses, arranging trial dates and adjournments, preparing corporate/commercial documentation, completing family law financial statements, assisting in the administration of estates, completing legal research, searching titles and processing real estate transactions.
