Medix College’s Massage Therapy program is approved by the Private Career Colleges Act 2005 and upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to write their Registration Examinations. The Registration Exams lead to Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the right to use the protected titles, “Massage Therapist” and “Registered Massage Therapist”.
Medix College of Healthcare uses a modular approach to deliver the Massage Therapy Curriculum. Students will learn through various theory-based courses pertaining to anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the human body. This will give the student the theoretical background of normal structure and function, and of dysfunction. The practical-based courses will focus on the assessment and treatment procedures of various pathologies of the human body and as outlined by the profession of Massage Therapy.
