OFFICE ASSISTANT TRAINING IN WINNIPEG

This program is available on campus, completely online, and in our hybrid Flex-Ed format. For Residents of Alberta we are happy to assist you in person at our new Edmonton Online Student Support Centre.  Office Assistants are responsible for routine clerical duties that are necessary to an organization’s operation. They may greet visitors, schedule appointments and answer the phone. They serve as communication managers for an office; organize and maintain files (electronic and hard copy), manage projects, conduct research, and distribute information through phone, mail and email. This program provides instruction in business application software along with business office practices and operations. Areas of study include computer software (word processing, spreadsheets, database and information management), communication skills and office methods and procedures.
