The program gives you hands-on training and theoretical knowledge required for a rewarding career as a Personal Support Worker. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide personal care to seniors, persons with disabilities, and convalescent clients. Care is provided within the client’s residence, in which the Personal Support Worker may also reside. Personal Support Workers ensure the safety and well-being of their clients and demonstrate sensitivity and respect for each individual in their care. • Provide care and companionship for individuals and families during periods of incapacitation, convalescence, or family disruption
