Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

The practice of massage therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissue and joints, Students learn to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function or relieve pain. We are dedicated to promoting a unique concept of Massage Therapy with the highest standard of education so that students graduate out knowing the skills that are currently in demand. Students would develop the required academic knowledge and expertise that will allow them to successfully conduct a methodical patient assessment, prepare treatment plans, deliver safe and effective treatment in an efficient manner while evaluating the diagnostic results. For the future entrepreneur, the course will teach how to successfully conduct ones’ own business as well.
Apart from theory and practical hands-on experience, students will also learn to excel in communication, professionalism, organizational, time management skills, critical thinking, business and legal practice. Our curriculum is based on in compliance with the Inter-Jurisdictional Massage Therapy Competency Standards by College of Massage Therapists of Ontario/ College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia/ College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland & Labrador. It is approved as a vocational program under the private career college act 2005. After graduating with the diploma students will be able to take theoretical (MCQ)and practical (OSCE) exam in order to obtain the Certificate of Registration from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). This will allow the students to practice their profession legally within Ontario and other provinces.
