This Diploma level program offers theoretical and practical application in understanding the medical terminology used in a doctor’s office, supported by a 4 week internship in a medical office environment. The program concentrates the detail and organizational skills required to communicate with patients, maintain patient files and records, respect the privacy of all medical records, and the detail involved in inputting and booking of appointments and dictation.
